Contact correction – Support over the Christmas Season……

Hello Families,

There are many people in our community who need some additional support to enjoy the Christmas Season.

We work in partnership with our school Parish, St. Ambrose, and the St. Vincent de Paul Society who can help with food/clothing hampers, gift cards, and toys.

If you need support or you know someone who does, please contact stambrose.ssvp@gmail.com or call 519-623-8764

Over the years we have been able to support many families so that everyone can enjoy the Christmas Season.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society will cross-reference the families with the local Firefighters’ Basket Fund.

Hampers will be delivered on December 21st.

Thank you,

St. Anne School Staff

Christmas Sale……

Dear St. Anne Families,

On behalf of our Social Justice club and Student Government, we are pleased to announce that we will be holding our annual Christmas sale on Tuesday, December 10! We will be using all proceeds from the sale to support our WE school global fundraising initiative this year. We will be raising funds for WE Villages, specifically focused on education in a Kenyan community. The students are so thrilled to be working to support the equal access to education that will be available because of fundraisers like ours.

Just like last year, we are looking for donations of gently used items for us to sell to our school community. Some of the popular items from last year included picture frames, games, movies, jewellery and houseware items. We would like to avoid selling clothing as all items would need to be washed prior to sale. All items will be priced at $1.00. We would like to have gift bags and wrapping available for students who are purchasing items as gifts, so we would appreciate donations of these as well. We will begin to accept donations immediately. Please send in any items you have to school with your child, and his/her teacher will ensure that it gets to us.

As like last year, we will be selling candy canes for 50 cents. All proceeds from the candy cane sales will go towards buying socks and underwear for children in Guatemala so that we may reach our goal.

Both of these initiatives are student generated and we are so proud that we have so many students in our community that want to help others.

Thank-you in advance for helping to support our students and their desire to make the world a better place for others!

Merry Christmas!

~ St. Anne Social Justice Club & Student Government

Christmas Concert at St. Anne School……

Hello Families,

Our Christmas Concert for families and friends is Wednesday, December 18th @ 1:30 in our gym.

Please entre through the doors at the Allison Neighbourhood Community Centre.

Seating is first come, first serve. Our gym is small, and seating is limited so we ask you also try to limit the number of guests. Doors will open @ 1:00.

Once again, we will reserve the front row for guests wishing to take photos of the current class performing. You can move up for your child’s performance to get a good view – but return to your regular seat immediately after.

The only option for parking is the side streets around the school. Please follow by-laws. The parking lot is reserved for school staff.

Students will be coming down to perform and then returning to their classes.

We are excited and looking forward to a wonderful time.

 Thank you,

St. Anne School Staff
