Hello Phoenix Families,

The School Board has determined that Monday (tomorrow) will operate like a “snow day”.  Teachers will post some work for students to engage with on their Google Classrooms/D2L.  Students will be required to login, access the work, complete it and submit it back to the Google/D2L platform as required.  There will not be live teaching on Monday. Teachers will use the day to make the transition to full remote learning to begin Tuesday.

Live remote lessons will begin Tuesday.  Please note we will follow the regular school day, work counts, and attendance is taken. Starting Tuesday, you will still need to call into the school if your child will be absent from remote learning as with any other school day.

If you are still in need of a Chromebook to access learning, please notify your child’s teacher. Chrombooks will be available starting Wednesday and your child’s teacher will confirm when it is ready for pick up.

Please note that with several classes still isolating, some staff are as well. Staff isolating may not provide live remote lessons until their isolation is complete and they will let you know if this applies to your child’s class.

Working together let’s hope this next block of remote learning is brief and we can safely return back to school together again soon.

Be well,

St. Anne School Staff
